Abstract

The amount of data available in the linked data cloud has grown enormously in the last years in several domains, including cultural heritage and digital humanities. However creative reuse of data both within the scholarly community and within the cultural industry is still very limited. It depends on a mixture of technical and social problems that needs to be addressed in research and within the industry. The paper will explores some of these challenges with a focus on the digital humanities.
